The cleanliness and hygiene of our hotel are of the utmost importance to us, so we are taking additional steps to ensure the safety of our guests and team members. Our hotel’s health and safety measures are designed to target a broad range of viruses, including COVID-19, and include everything from handwashing hygiene and cleaning product specifications to guestroom and common area cleaning procedures. Specific steps we are taking include:

Team Members: The health and safety of our team members, as well as their hygiene knowledge, are vital to an effective cleaning program. Below are some of the ways we are supporting them:

- At daily meetings, all team members are reminded to wash/sanitize their hands frequently throughout their shifts.
- Masks and gloves are provided to all team members.
- Plexiglass has been installed at the front desk to protect both team members and guests and markers are used at the front desk to aid adherence to social distancing guidelines.
- Team members are all educated on and informed of proper infection control procedures and current sanitation guidelines/regulations related to COVID-19 (per local government, CDC, and WHO).

Cleaning Protocols and Products: We have taken additional measures, developed in consultation with global and local public health authorities (including the WHO and CDC), to make our cleaning and hygiene protocols even more rigorous. We have continued the use of hospital-grade disinfectant and have increased the deployment of hand sanitizers along with the below:

Guest Rooms: We use cleaning and disinfecting protocols to clean rooms after guests depart and before the next guest arrives, with particular attention paid to high-touch items/areas.

Public Spaces: We have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting in public spaces, with a focus on the counter at the front desk, elevators, and elevator buttons, door handles, public bathrooms, etc.

Back of House: In the spaces where team members work “behind the scenes,” we are increasing the frequency of cleaning and focusing on high-touch areas like team member entrances, breakrooms, laundry rooms, and offices.
